Full Notification

The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of June 30 throug July 6, 2019.        
 
June 30, 2019

• A Grand Theft was reported in the 300 block of Opal Canyon Road. Sometime between 8 p.m. on June 29th and 8:30 a.m. on the 30th, person’s unknown stole a backpack and a laptop from the unlocked vehicle. The loss was estimated at approximately $1,600. The investigation is on-going.      

• A Petty Theft was reported in the 1900 block of Huntington Drive. A $600 laptop was taken from a residence while the victim was in the process of moving out.  The investigation is on-going.

• A Petty Theft was reported at 1050 Huntington Drive (Target). Store security detained an adult female outside the store after observing her concealing $314 in miscellaneous merchandise, then walking out of the store without paying.  After further investigation by responding deputies, the female was arrested for shoplifting.    

• A Petty Theft was reported at 1475 Huntington Drive (One West Bank).  A potted plant valued at approximately $50 was stolen from the front of the bank.

• A Petty Theft was reported at 816 Highland Avenue (Loyd’s Bike Shop).  Sometime between 6:00 pm on July 1^st and 10:00 am on July 5^th, a 26 inch, yellow, men’s bicycle, valued at approximately $40, was stolen from a fenced in area behind the business.

• A Grand Theft was reported at 1720 Flower Street (Value Windows and Doors).  Sometime between 6:00pm on July 3^rd and 6:00 am on July 5^th, person(s) unknown stole nine cell phone tower radio boxes and two cellphone tower antennas from the rear parking lot.  The loss was estimated at approximately      $11,000 .  The investigation is ongoing.

• A Grand Theft Automobile (GTA) was reported from 1031 Central Avenue (Advantage Ford).  Sometime between 5:30 pm on July 3^rd and 1:30 pm on July 5^th, person(s) unknown stole a gray, 2019 Ford Mustang Coupe from Advantage Ford’s parking lot.

• A Residential Burglary was reported on the 2700Block of Starpine Drive.  Sometime between 5:00 pm on July 5^th and 5:00 pm on July 6^th, person(s) unknown shattered a rear window to the residence and ransacked a suitcase in the rear bedroom.  It is unknown if anything was stolen.  The investigation is ongoing.

• A Vehicle Burglary was reported at 1431 Buena Vista Street (The Old Spaghetti Factory).  Between 5:00pm and 5:45 pm, person(s) unknown shattered the front, driver-side window of the victim’s 2000 Subaru Impreza, and stole a lap-top computer from the front seat.  The stolen lap-top was valued at $400.
