* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Jefferson County in the Panhandle of West Virginia...
* Until 345 AM EDT.
* At 1240 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Charles Town, Ranson, Corporation Of Ranson and Shenandoah Junction.
* AFFECTED AREAS: JEFFERSON, WV
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
