*** Traffic Advisory ***
Beginning Monday July 8, 2019 at 6 a.m. Pennsylvania-bound traffic on 295 will be reduced from 3 lanes to 1 between exit 73 (Scotch Road) and the Scudders Falls Bridge. It is highly recommended you plan an alternate route of travel as this traffic pattern will remain in place throughout most of the week. During that time, crews will construct a new section of the highway, steering all lanes over toward the new Scudder Falls Bridge entrance. During peak hours traffic is predicted to back up on 295 as far as route 1.
In addition to the 295 construction (nightmare) there is continued work on the Quakerbridge RR overpass (1 lane each direction) just north of Village Rd and additional utility work on Route 1 approaching Quakerbridge Rd (both directions) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in which the right lane and shoulder will be closed.
