Johnson man arrested on battery charge. 
On July 6, 2019, at 10:47 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a battery that had occurred in the 5000 block of South County Road 950 West in Johnson, Indiana. Upon arriving Deputy Loren Barchett with the assistance of Deputy Jennifer Robb began an investigation into the incident. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Barchett placed 35 year old Jeremy Owen of Johnson into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Owen was charged with Battery. He remains in custody on a $550 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
