Western Atlantic County in southern New Jersey... Northeastern Cumberland County in southern New Jersey... East central Salem County in southern New Jersey... South central Camden County in southern New Jersey... Southeastern Gloucester County in southern New Jersey... * Until 815 PM EDT

. * At 733 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elmer, or 12 miles north of Bridgeton, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Vineland, Glassboro, Hammonton, Clayton, Buena, Weymouth, Estell Manor, Newfield, Elmer, Franklinville, Olivet, Malaga, Dorothy, Mizpah, South Vineland, Rosenhayn, Monroe Township, Elwood-Magnolia, Seabrook Farms and Williamstown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ.

This thunderstorm is capable of producing all types of severe weather including destructive straight line winds and tornadoes.
