Events going on today for the 4th of July. These will be happening throughout the day. Please stay alert while driving.

Just a quick message as to events that will be going on today.
There will be 5K (Firecracker) Run at the Jay County Fairgrounds. The run starts at 8:00am. This run should go from the Fairgrounds West on Votaw, North on Depot then East on Pearl Street.
At 11:00am the 4th of July parade will start. This will go from River Rd, North on Meridian. It will turn on Depot (behind Subway) then East on Votaw street Entering the Fairgrounds.
There will be no parking along Depot street and vehicles may be towed at the owners expense if parked along the road.
There will be many other events throughout the day at the Fairgrounds.
At 10:00pm Fireworks. These are launched from the Jay County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds provide the best seats to view the fireworks however, they are visible along Morton Street, 100 N, the Old Walmart Parking Lot.
Please pay attention to NO PARKING SIGNS
No Parking is for the entire area (EX. the entire block or street) and not just for a specified area (EX. 20' of the sign.)
