Stabbing west side of Green Bay. Subject in Custody.

On July 1st just after midnight, Green Bay police were called to the 100 block of Marquette St for a male that had been stabbed. Upon arrival police found a male with several stabs wounds to the torso. Police rendered first aid and the 29 year old victim was transported to a local hospital by Green Bay Fire. The injuries are not life threatening.
Green Bay Police were assisted by Brown County K-9 who was able to locate the suspect almost a mile away hiding along a fence. The suspect a 30 year old male who was currently residing in Green Bay, was taken into custody without further incident. The suspect and victim knew each other and are related.
Green Bay Police are referring charges of 1st Degree Reckless Injury to the District Attorneys Office.
