Arrested: Lamonte Hardman - 47 years old out of Oakland, Shavonna Johnson – 29 years old out of Oakland
Charges: Hardman – robbery, parole violation, probation violation, Johnson – Robbery, misdemeanor warrant, probation violation

Narrative: On June 28, 2019 at approximately 7:19 PM , EPD Officers responded to ULTA (3839 Emery St #200) on the report of a theft that just occurred. Employees reported two suspects stole merchandise from the business and brandished knives when confronted.
The suspects, identified as Lamonte Hardman and Shovonna Johnson, fled the store on foot. A witness followed the suspects as they walked to a nearby encampment in the 3500 block of Peralta St and hid in a tent. The witness directed responding officers to their location. Hardman and Johnson were contacted and arrested without incident. The weapons used during the commission of the crime were located and recovered.

The investigation revealed Hardman was a parolee at large and active to probation for theft related offenses. Hardman was booked for armed robbery, a parole violation and re-arrested for his probation violation. Johnson was also active to probation and had a theft related misdemeanor warrant. Johnson was booked for armed robbery, a probation violation and the warrant.
