* At 835 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles northwest of Ranchvale to near Cannon Air Force Base to near Oasis State Park, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Strong crosswinds will create dangerous travel on north to south oriented roadways including U.S. Highway 70 between Clovis and Portales.
