This is the view from the Sterling Highway overlooking the Swan Lake Fire. We are having a problem with motorist stopping to take pictures. While we understand why people want to stop for a quick photo, doing so hampers the efforts of fire crews battling the blaze. If you are traversing the Sterling Highway, please do not stop unless you are directed to do so by the Alaska State Troopers or Fire Crews.
