June 18

Auto Burglary – 700 block of Liberty St:
At 7:34 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the window to the victim’s Honda CRV and stole a purse.

June 19

Domestic Violence – 10800 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 7:37 am, an officer responded to Oakland Kaiser, where a female who suffered several injuries, informed staff she was assaulted by her boyfriend. Officers went to the victim’s residence, where they contacted the 28-year-old suspect and took him into custody. The male was booked then taken to the county jail.

Burglary, & Mail Theft – 6400 block of Central Ave:
At 8:55 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered an apartment complex and pried open several locked mailboxes and removed the contents.

Robbery, Assault, Probation Violation & Warrant Arrest – 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 9:21 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 58-year-old man who was detained by store security for shoplifting. While being held, the man bit one of the security guards in the arm. The man also had two warrants for his arrest and was subsequently transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Assault – BART path between Blake St / Hill St:
At 1:16 am, an officer reports a transient woman was physically assaulted while she was sleeping in a makeshift campsite along the BART path. The woman suffered cuts to her face, head, and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. The victim refused to cooperate with the detectives who were assigned the case.

June 20

Vandalism – 400 block of Norvell St:
At 8:22 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered a window to the victim’s vehicle sometime overnight.

Stolen Vehicle – 1800 block of Key Blvd:
At 12:20 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect took the victim’s vehicle sometime during the last three weeks.

Auto Burglary – 600 block of Norvell St:
At 12:59 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered the driver side window to the victim’s vehicle and ransacked the interior. However, there was no loss. The incident occurred overnight.

Grand Theft – 3090 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 3:18 pm, an unknown suspect grabbed the victim’s laptop and fled from the store towards the Plaza BART station.

Domestic Battery – 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1:52 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 23-year-old woman who confronted her ex-boyfriend at his job and assaulted him. The woman was arrested and later released into the custody of a bail bondsman.
