A very humid and unstable southwest wind flow will result in another round of thunderstorms with heavy rain this morning. The National Weather Service in Paducah has expanded the
* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of southern Illinois and western Kentucky, including the following areas, in southern Illinois, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jefferson, Perry IL, Saline, and Williamson. In western Kentucky, Caldwell and Crittenden.
* Until 10 AM CDT this morning
* Strong thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will cross the area early this morning. This rain will fall on top of moist ground from heavy rainfall that occurred on Friday. Up to two inches of rain could fall this morning. Much of this rain could fall in short periods of time.
* Weekend outdoor activities could be severely impacted by potential flooding this morning.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SALINE ... WILLIAMSON ... FRANKLIN ... JEFFERSON ... JACKSON ... CALDWELL ... HAMILTON ... GALLATIN ... HARDIN ... PERRY ... CRITTENDEN
