Jackson County in west central Missouri... Western Johnson County in west central Missouri...

* Until 1115 AM CDT.

* At 1026 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Blue Springs, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Independence, Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Grandview, Belton, Raymore, Warrensburg, Grain Valley, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Oak Grove, Richmond, Odessa, Greenwood, Higginsville, Lexington, Peculiar, Louisburg, Carrollton and Buckner. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 15 and 57. Interstate 470 between mile markers 5 and 16.
