Advisory
The stalled front that has brought repeated rounds of storms and flooding will bring one final active day/night before fair weather returns tomorrow. There are two primary time frames of concern. The first window of concern is 3 - 8 PM for strong to severe storms (with scattered wind damage the greatest threat). The second would be toward the predawn hours for add'l downpours.
SEVERE STORM RISK AND LOCALIZED FLOODINGÂ THREAT TIME: THURSDAY 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
SEVERE STORM RISK AND LOCALIZED FLOODING
THREAT TIME: THURSDAY 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
MAIN SEVERE RISK; DOWNPOURS LINGER LATER
The stalled front that has brought repeated rounds of storms and flooding will bring one final active day/night before fair weather returns tomorrow. There are two primary time frames of concern. The first window of concern is 3 - 8 PM for strong to severe storms (with scattered wind damage the greatest threat). The second would be toward the predawn hours for add'l downpours.
The first round of strong storms later in the afternoon should be less stationary compared to the storms that impacted areas to our south last night. That being said, a slower moving, add'l area of storms likely moves through during the predawn. Therefore, localized storm totals over an inch are likely before the system completely exits by through the morning Friday.
