3 Vehicle Crash, Calvin Center at Calvin Hill, Calvin Twp

Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports his office investigated a three car crash at the intersection of Calvin Hill St and Calvin Center Rd, Calvin Twp, Cass County, Michigan. This crash occurred on 06-20-2019 at approximately 1105 Am.

Emergency personnel were called after a west bound vehicle on Calvin Hill St. failed to stop/yield as required at Calvin Center Road. The vehicle, driven by Corey Grimmer, 25 yrs of South Bend, Indiana entered the intersection and struck a north bound pick-up truck driven by Jimmy Crosslin, 66 yrs of Vandalia, Michigan. The Crosslin vehicle was forced into the path of the south bound vehicle driven by Karen Lee Hardisty, 60 Yrs, of Vandalia, Michigan. All three drivers were checked by medics and released at the scene.

Airbags and seatbelts were used by the drivers. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors in the crash.

Deputies were assisted on scene by Penn Twp Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance service.
