Information Regarding Fox Sightings
Dear Residents:
The Carlstadt Board of Health recently received numerous phone calls of Fox sightings in the area. One of the problems is that wild animals have become very used to people because they find food left on our properties. That being said please close all your garbage can lids tightly. Do not leave any garbage bags or food outside for rodents to access. Fox prey mostly on rodents and roadkill. Never attempt to approach or handle wildlife. If you find an injured or sick Fox, always call the Carlstadt Police Department and let them dispatch our Animal Control provider (TYCO) to handle the situation.

Yours in Preparedness.
