INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of a Firearm/ Attempt Burglary/ Conspiracy
LOCATION: 2800 Block of Bedford Lane, Chino Hills
SUSPECT: Maurice Barnes, 24 years old, resident of Los Angeles
Marquise Marshall, 20 years old, resident of Lancaster
Sherena Adams, 26 years old, resident of Los Angeles
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11:03 a.m., a resident called sheriff’s dispatch and advised an unknown suspect broke his rear sliding glass door after knocking on his front door. The resident provided a suspect description of a black male adult on crutches and said the suspect drove away in a white Chevrolet Camaro. Deputies responded, conducted an area check and located the suspect vehicle occupied by Maurice Barnes, Marquise Marshall and Sherena Adams.
An investigation was conducted, and all three subjects were arrested for conspiracy and attempted burglary. Maurice Barnes was also found to be in possession of a firearm and was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm.
