Outdoor Siren Maintenance 
On Wednesday, June 19, contractors will be conducting maintenance and tests of the outdoor warning siren system in the Northville area. You may hear brief activations of the sirens during this work. There is no cause for alarm or action.
Any situation requiring action will be announced using the usual full 3 minute siren activation. Check local media for information and instructions. Do not call 911 for information.
Sirens are also fully tested the first Saturday of the month at 1PM, with the 3 minute signal. Tests are canceled if weather is threatening to avoid confusion. Sirens are not tested in winter.
These tests are conducted to ensure reliability in the event of an emergency.
