The City of Oneonta Department of Public Service will be flushing water mains in the high service area starting 9 am to 4 pm, Monday, June 17, 2019.  Affected areas include: Homer Folks Ave, Overlook Drive, Suncrest Terrace, College Terrace, West Street, Ravine Parkway (North and South), Bugbee Road, Blodgett Drive, and adjacent side streets.  See attached map for highlighted streets to be affected.  Flushing in these areas is expected to be completed this week, with flushing in other areas to continue the following week.
 
During flushing, water users may experience a change in water color, pressure and/or loss of water. This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm.
