June 4

Warrant Arrest – S.55th Street and Cypress Avenue:
At 12:50 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested an occupant, a 30-year-old female from Richmond, for an outstanding warrant. The female was booked then released with a citation.

DUI and collision – San Pablo Avenue and Lincoln Avenue:
At 4:13 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 22-year-old male from Vallejo. The male was involved in a vehicle accident, and during the investigation, it was determined the driver was driving under the influence. The male was booked then released with a citation to a friend.

June 5

Auto Burglary – 11800 block of San Pablo Avenue:
At 8:22 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered the rear passenger window to the victim’s car and then removed a computer bag. Approximately 10 minutes after the incident, the victim’s credit card was used at a gas station in a nearby city.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Eastshore Boulevard:
At 8:05 am, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 28-year-old male from San Francisco for an outstanding warrant. The male was booked then transported to the county jail.

Vandalism – 1300 block of Liberty Street:
At 8:40 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered the right window to the victim’s vehicle.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue and Eastshore Boulevard:
At 2:24 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested an occupant, a 30-year-old male from Richmond, for an outstanding warrant. The male was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Domestic Battery – 10200 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 6:22 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 21-year-old male who was involved in a physical altercation with his pregnant girlfriend. The man was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Residential Burglary – 900 block of Pomona Ave:
At 10:17 pm, an officer reports three unknown suspects broke the window to a residence and entered. While inside, the suspects removed cash and property before fleeing.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Key Blvd / Elm St:
At 10:36 pm, an officer located a black 2001 Honda CR-V parked along the curb which had been reported stolen to the San Francisco Police Department several days earlier.

DUI – Waldo Ave / Richmond St:
At 1:38 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 57-year-old female who was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol. The woman was transported to the El Cerrito Police Department and later released with a citation.

June 6

Petty Theft – 1800 block of Elm St:
At 5:50 pm, an officer reports a student of had her cell phone stolen from a backpack during gym class.

Vehicle Pursuit, Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Central Ave / Liberty St:
At 10:19 am, an officer observed a vehicle driving erratically and attempted to make a traffic stop. The vehicle fled as the officer learned the car had been reported stolen by the Berkeley Police Department earlier that same day. Officers later found the vehicle unoccupied and released the vehicle to its owner.

June 7th

Battery, Disturbing the Peace – 5010 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 1:30 PM, an officer was providing extra patrol at the El Cerrito Plaza when he was flagged down about a fight involving three Korematsu Middle School students. Several students were contacted and released to their parents.

June 8th

Resist Peace Officers, Possess Burglary Tools, Prowling, Possess Controlled Substance – Gatto Ave / Canyon Trail Park:
At 10:45 am, officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person in the 5900 block of Jordan Avenue. An officer located a 29-year-old San Pablo man walking near the Canyon Trail clubhouse matching the description provided to dispatch. A search of his person revealed burglary tools in his pockets. When the officers attempted to handcuff the suspect, the suspect pulled away and swung at one of the officers. After several minutes of wrestling, two officers eventually got the suspect into handcuffs. Two officers sustained bruises and scrapes as a result of several punches and kicks from the suspect. The suspect sustained abrasions and facial injuries. The arrested man went to Kaiser Richmond via ambulance for medical treatment then was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. Officers were treated at the scene by paramedics.

June 9th

Stolen Vehicle – 100 Block of Santa Fe Ave:
An officer reports the victim’s silver 1999 Honda CRV was taken between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM today from in front of the residence.

Stolen Vehicle – 5200 Block of Cypress Ave:
An officer reports the victim’s black 2008 Nissan Altima was stolen from in front of the residence between 12:30 PM on 6/7/19 and 3:30 PM on 6/9/2019.

Stolen Vehicle (Recovered) – 100 Block Santa Fe Ave:
While looking for evidence in the area of the above vehicle theft, an officer located a 1996 Honda Accord 4 which was reported stolen to the San Francisco Police Department on 6/8/2019.
