INCIDENT: TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Thursday June13th, 2019 at about 12:12 AM, Pomona Police Department received a call of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision in the area of Towne Ave and Ivory Ln. When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle had struck a pedestrian in the roadway. They located a female adult victim down in lanes of traffic. Pomona Police Departmen and Los Angeles County Fire Department provided aid to the hit pedestrian; she was ultimately transported to the hospital with severe injuries, and is currently listed in critical condition. The driver of the involved vehicle was also contacted on scene, and they are cooperating fully with the investigation.
