SUMMARY:

On Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at approximately 8:34 p.m. deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a call of a drowning in the 7400 block of Carnelian Street.

The victim and a friend were at the pool trying to learn how to swim. They held onto the side as they circled the deep end of the pool. The victim let go of the side and accidently slipped underwater. The friend flagged down a citizen who jumped into the pool and pulled the victim out.
