On Sunday, June 9, 2019 at approximately 7 AM the Frankfort Police Department received a report of a battery that occurred on the Plank Trail near Elsner Road. It appears that the victim was intentionally knocked down causing her to fall. An arrest was made, and the police continue to investigate. Please remember to be aware of your surroundings anytime out. Refrain from using headphones that restrict your ability to hear the environment around you. Go in groups when possible. If you see something or hear something, say something. As always contact the police to report suspicious activity. The Frankfort Police Dept will continue to patrol the Plank Trail within their jurisdiction
