Fire on Wisconsin Ave

On June 7th, 2019, at 724am, members from both Green Bay Police and Green Bay Metro Fire Department were called to the 2500 block of Wisconsin Ave, for a structure fire. During the course of the response, it was determined that a baby was inside of the home. As units arrived, the baby was located and immediate lifesaving efforts were started and this patient was transported to a local hospital along with a 20 yr old female, a Green Bay resident.

At the time of this release, an 11 month old male has died, and a 20 yr old female Green Bay resident is in stable condition at a local hospital. The investigation into this fire is being handled by the following agencies: Green Bay Police, Green Bay Metro Fire and the State of WI Dept of Criminal Investigations, (State Fire Marshals Office). The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and there will be no further comment by agencies at this time.
