Police Arrest Three Men for Possession of a gun During Traffic Stop 
HOLLISTER, CALIFORNIA – June 7, 2019– The Hollister Police Department arrested three local men for possession of a firearm.
On June 1, 2019, at about 10:57 P.M., an Officer was on patrol in the area of Highway 25 and Sunnyslope Road. He spotted a traffic violation and stopped the vehicle in question.
The Officer contacted Francisco Silva, Jessie Flores and Jose Ceja. All three persons are local residents and are known gang associates. A DUI investigation was conducted on the driver, Silva, and found that he was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
As Officers were conducting further investigation, a loaded handgun was found. The gun was accessible to all three occupants. All three persons were arrest.
Silva was arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime, carrying a loaded handgun in a public place and DUI. Flores was charged with carrying a loaded firearm in a public place, conspiracy to commit a crime and a warrant, Ceja was arrested for carrying a loaded firearm in a public place and conspiracy to commit a crime.
