Open Positions for Extra Hire Bai 
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for several extra-hire Bailiff positions. Extra Hire Bailiffs work a flexible schedule in the new county courthouse. Duties include prisoner transport, courtroom security, front lobby screening, judicial protection and other various duties relating to the courthouse. Applicants must possess a current 832PC certificate. Training and refresher post courses may be available.
