Following the service of a search warrant, several people are arrested for various narcotics charges

LOCATION: 8200 block of 9th Street
SUSPECT: Multiple Suspects
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, June 6, 2019, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department served a search warrant at a residence on the 8200 block of 9th Street. Deputies recovered Xanax pills, methamphetamine, a scale with narcotic residue, more than 30 used hypodermic needles containing methamphetamine residue, and over ten glass pipes used to ingest methamphetamine. In total, 15 people were living at the residence.
Of the 15 occupants, two people were found to have outstanding warrants, six were arrested for felony narcotics crimes, and one was arrested and later cite released for a misdemeanor narcotics offense. The nine arrestees were booked at the West Valley Detention Center. One of the 15 occupants considered herself the “head of the household,” and charged rent from the occupants. The “head of the household”, has no legal standing to the residence and was using it to further narcotics sales in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Code enforcement determined the residence unsafe for living and condemned the dwelling.
