Nueces River At Laguna Affecting Uvalde County ...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... West Nueces River At Brackettville Affecting Kinney and Uvalde Counties Nueces River Below Uvalde Affecting Uvalde County The flood warning continues for the West Nueces River At Brackettville.

* At 1:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 1.6 feet.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...rise above flood stage Tuesday evening and continue to rise to near 15.2 feet Tuesday night. The river will fall below flood stage late Tuesday night.

* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding is over one hundred twenty yards wide at the gauge in one channel, and a second channel is fifteen yards wide. Secondary roads and crossings near the river are flooded and dangerous to motorists.

* AFFECTED AREAS: UVALDE, TX ... KINNEY, TX

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect life and property. River stage forecasts are based on observed rainfall along with predicted rain. If actual rainfall varies from forecast values, the forecast river stages will change. Do not drive automobiles through flooded areas. Remember, 18 inches of water or less can carry away most vehicles, including trucks.
