MARSHALS ARREST MAN WANTED ON SEX TRAFFICKING CHARGES
Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Jeff Holt announced today thearrest of Marcus Jones, 25, of Memphis TN. Jones was wanted in Las Vegas, Nevada for several charges including Sex trafficking of a child, Conspiring to commit a sex act, Kidnapping of a minor and Child abuse. Jones also has warrants in Georgia. Today, acting on a tip, Marshals along with officers with the Jackson Police Department and the Jackson Police Department’s Gang Unit arrested Jones in Memphis, TN. Jones was booked in Shelby County Jail to await extradition to Nevada.
The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) is a wing of the U.S. Marshals Service and has offices in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. The Jackson, TN office consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Tennessee Department of Correction, and Investigators with the Jackson Police Department.
