At 605 AM CDT/705 AM EDT/...Doppler radar estimated that slow moving thunderstorms overnight produced up to two to four inches of rain in the warning area. The rain has ended. However, the excessive amounts of rain on top of saturated soils will likely cause continued runoff that will likely produce areas of roadway and field flooding through mid morning, along with some creeks and small streams overflowing their banks.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rensselaer, Watseka, De Motte, Fairbury, Fowler, Kentland, Otterbein, Morocco, Piper City, Stockland, Hanging Grove, Roselawn, Talbot, Gifford, Pembroke, Pleasant Ridge, Wadena, Beaver City, Moody and Raub.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying spots. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
