Weekend Events in the City of Manchester could cause traffic delays.
SATURDAY JUNE 1
American Heart Association Heart/Stroke Walk
Derryfield Park at 10:00 AM
The Manchester Police Department would like to inform you of an event this Saturday that could cause increased traffic congestion and possible delays.
The event is the American Heart Association Heart/Stroke Walk, Saturday, June 1st @ 10:00 AM. The walk will start at Derryfield Park. the walkers will follow Circular Dr then continue Reservoir Ave to Belmont St/ north on Belmont st/ west on Blodgett St/ south on Oak St/east on Pearl St south on Belmont St to Reservoir Ave back to Derryfield Park.
SUNDAY JUNE 2
Annual Bagels and Biscuits 5K
Derryfield Park at 9:00 AM
The Manchester Police Department would like to advise you of an event on Sunday, June 2, 2019 that may cause traffic delays and increase traffic congestion. The event is the Annual Bagels and Biscuits 5K that will begin at the Derryfield Park at 9:00 AM. The race will exit the park via Circular Dr and Reservoir Ave and head into the neighborhood north of Bridge St and then return to the park, again via Circular Dr and Reservoir Ave. Although the course is considered "open" to traffic there will be a few road closures in key locations to ensure that the route is safe for the runners. Both Circular Dr and Reservoir Ave will be closed during the race and traffic on Belmont St will be restricted from entering off of Bridge St as well as from Smyth Rd. Drivers in this area are urged to use caution if they encounter runners in the roadway. Information on the race can be found at http://www.bagelsandbiscuits5k.com/
