Consumers Energy Gas Line Upgrade 
Consumers Energy is returning a natural gas line to service today May 30, 2019 at around 12:00 PM, in the area of 7 Mile and Napier Rd. During the time the line is being returned to service there will be a gas purge. The purge may release an order similar to rotten eggs. A sound coming from the purge is less likely but could occur. There is no safety issue and citizens should not be concerned.
