Another area of low pressure will approach late today and pass just south tonight.
Another round of showers and thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon into this evening, some of which may become strong and/or severe.

WHERE: This will be highly dependent on exact track of the low as it rides along the front. The best chance for severe weather at this time appears to be just south and west of the NYC metro. See Severe Weather Outlook above.
WHEN: Primarily late this afternoon and into the evening.
Potential Hazards and Impacts:
Severe Thunderstorms: The main threats associated with any severe storms will be damaging winds and large hail. Isolated
tornadoes are also possible.
Flash Flooding: There is the a marginal risk of flash flooding due to multiple thunderstorms moving over the same area.
Confidence or Forecast Scenarios:
There is moderate confidence in showers and thunderstorms developing late this afternoon into this evening, but there remains
uncertainty with the location and development of severe thunderstorms.
