Crimes Against Children Detectives arrest Chreoyn Davis of Adelanto, for Willful Cruelty to a Child

VICTIM: Five-month-old male
SUSPECT: Chreoyn Davis, 21 years old, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, Chreoyn Davis took the victim to Victor Valley Global Medical Center (VVGMC), in Victorville, for difficulty breathing. During the medical examination at VVGMC, medical staff found numerous injuries to the victim. Due to the nature of the victim’s injuries, he was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC), via helicopter, for further medical treatment. Forensic Pediatricians at LLUMC located other injuries on the victim and determined all the victim’s injuries were consistent with suspected child abuse.
The victim is currently hospitalized at LLUMC in the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Investigators determined the 5-month-old victim resides in Adelanto with Chreoyn Davis.
Following an extensive investigation and collaboration with the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, Victorville Sheriff’s Station and Forensic Pediatricians from LLUMC, Davis was arrested on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. She was booked at West Valley Detention Center for Willful Cruelty to a Child and bail was set for $100,000.
