The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including the following areas, in northern Delaware, New Castle. In New Jersey, Camden, Coastal Ocean, Eastern Monmouth, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Southeastern Burlington, Sussex, Warren, and Western Monmouth. In Pennsylvania, Berks, Carbon, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lehigh, Lower Bucks, Monroe, Northampton, Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester, and Western Montgomery.
* From this afternoon through late tonight
* Showers and thunderstorms will move into eastern Pennsylvania and much of New Jersey later this afternoon and this evening. Thunderstorms will be capable of heavy rainfall, and training of thunderstorms is also possible. Total rain amounts will range from 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts possible.
* Flash flooding is possible in places where the heaviest thunderstorms persist. Rises on rivers and streams with the potential for urban, small stream, and poor drainage flooding is also possible.
