Flash Flood Watch until 07:00AM Wednesday
The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Illinois and north central Illinois, including the following areas, in central Illinois, Livingston. In north central Illinois, La Salle, Lee, Ogle, and Winnebago.
* From this evening through Wednesday morning
* Showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact the watch area tonight and these storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall rates of 1 to 1.5 inches per hour.
* Runoff from this heavy rainfall may result in areas of flash flooding, along with additional rises on area rivers.
* AFFECTED AREAS: OGLE ... WINNEBAGO ... LA SALLE ... LEE ... LIVINGSTON

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
