Advisory

Pendleton Update

Emergency crews continue to go door to door checking all homes.  We are asking all residents to stay in your home and shelter in place.  If your home is damaged and you need a place to go, Pendleton High School is open at the front entrance for sheltering.

All roads are blocked with trees, power lines, and utility poles.   Law enforcement has setup a police perimeter around Pendleton to keep vehicles out of the town for safety purposes and to allow emergency responders to work.

Pendleton Utility Company and Duke Energy is currently working to make repairs but it will be a lengthy repair process.   We do not have an estimate of when power will be restored to the area.

If you need emergency help, please dial 911.  Please do NOT call 911 to ask about power outages, road closures or other non life threatening questions.
