The Town of Yorktown Police Department wil be closing East Main St. temporarily for pedestrian safety in the area of the Shrub Oak War Memorial, which is located in front of the John C. Hart Library. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. East Main St. will be closed at New Rd. to eastbound traffic, and at Frost Rd. to westbound traffic, between 9:45 and 10:45 a.m.
