Police identify driver of North Loop Hit&Run Accident 
Police have identified the suspect of yesterday’s Hit&Run accident as 41 year-old Byron Bernard Byrd of California City. Byrd collided into another car on North Loop Blvd. The other vehicle was occupied by a man, woman and small infant. All three sustained minor injuries.
Byrd fled the scene but was quickly apprehended at his home in the 8800 blk of Aspen Ave. He was arrested and booked into Kern County jail for Felony Hit&Run and driving on a suspended license.
The three victims were treated at the scene by Paramedics.
