The Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 27, 2019 in the City of Albany. The parade will step off at 9:30 a.m. from the corner of Central Avenue and Quail Street, proceed east on Central Avenue, and continue east on Washington Avenue to Hawk Street. The reviewing stand will be on the steps of the New York State Education Building on Washington Avenue across from the Capitol.

If the parade is cancelled due to inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Albany City Hall rotunda. If there is inclement weather after the parade, the ceremony will be held in the Albany City Hall rotunda. Handicap access is on the south side of City Hall.

Parking Restrictions:
May 27, 2019 7:00 a.m-12:00 p.m.

• Washington Avenue, both sides between S. Swan Street and N. Hawk Street

Road Closures:
May 27, 2019 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

• Central Avenue between manning Boulevard and Washington Avenue
• Washington Avenue between Central Avenue and Eagle Street
• All intersecting roadways to and from the above streets will be closed and cross traffic will diverted around the parade route
