Full Notification

Simi Valley Police are currently assisting the Ventura County Fire Department with a downed power line in the 6300 block of Katherine Road. The power line is adjacent to Knolls Elementary School, but not affecting the school in any way other than forcing the closure of the school entrance. Student pick-up time remains the same; however, depending on repair status, parents may have to wait in front of the school and call the office to arrange release of their child. There is no estimated repair time.

UPDATE: The school parking lot is now open; however, Edison is still on-scene.
