The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Illinois and northwest Indiana, including the following areas, in Illinois, Boone, Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, La Salle, Lake, Lee, McHenry, Ogle, Will, and Winnebago. In northwest Indiana, Lake.
* From this evening through Saturday morning
* Showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact the watch area tonight and these storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
* Runoff from this heavy rainfall may result in areas of flash flooding, along with additional rises on area rivers.
* AFFECTED AREAS: OGLE ... WINNEBAGO ... KENDALL ... LA SALLE ... BOONE ... COOK ... MCHENRY ... DUPAGE ... LAKE ... LAKE ... KANE ... WILL ... GRUNDY ... DE KALB ... LEE
