Clark County in east central Illinois... Southeastern Shelby County in central Illinois... Cumberland County in east central Illinois... Douglas County in east central Illinois...

* Until 300 AM CDT.

* At 213 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cooks Mill, or near Mattoon, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. Brief tornados are possible with this storm. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Charleston, Mattoon, Paris, Shelbyville, Tuscola, Sullivan, Marshall, Toledo, Arcola, Casey, Villa Grove, Arthur, Neoga, Greenup, Chrisman, Martinsville, Oakland, Newman, Kansas and Ashmore. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 between mile markers 168 and 217. Interstate 70 between mile markers 110 and 154.
