Coffee With a Cop
On May 23rd, 2019, officers from the South Brunswick Police Department and community members will come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee.
All community members are invited to attend. The event is scheduled from 4pm to 6pm at Starbucks, 3804 Rte. 1 North. Starbucks has kindly agreed to provide free coffee and refreshments.
Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in South Brunswick.
The majority of contacts law enforcement has with the public happen during emergencies or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the best times for relationship building with the community. Coffee with a Cop breaks down barriers and allows for a relaxed, one-on-one interaction.
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative which aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time. Please join us!
Blood Drive at South Brunswick High School
SBHS students, staff, and administration would like to invite community members to come to SBHS and "Bleed Black and Gold" during their 4th annual blood drive.
This event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 29th, and Thursday, May 30th, from 7:30am to 1:30pm, and will be held at the SBHS Health Office. Refreshments will be served.
