Relationship Building
Relationship building, education, and partnering are all key words that the officers of the Jackson Police Department attempt to fulfill as we serve all citizens of Jackson and the surrounding communities. These key words are part of the department’s Mission Statement.
Today, May 22nd, Chief Wiser and officers of the Jackson Police Department took another step in fulfilling the department’s Mission Statement by preparing lunch for students at Lincoln Elementary School. Police officers braved the heat and grilled hotdogs and burgers for the students.
Grilling allowed officers an opportunity to interact with students and dismantle preconceived ideas about police officers.
Building positive relationships is one of Chief Wiser’s priorities for the Jackson Police Department and this community.
Together, Jackson can be different!
