There will be no parking for State employees at the Navy Stadium lot, due to the graduation. Therefore, all State and private vehicles must be removed from the lot by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Any vehicles that remain on the lot will be towed.

Arrangements have been made for employees to park in the Calvert Street Garage, Parking Lot K across from the Tawes building, and the Tawes Visitor Lot. A MCP Police or Security Officer will be on duty from 0700 to 1300 hours to check state IDs for entrance to the garage and lots.

The City of Annapolis will run shuttle service beginning 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. for employees of the Tawes Complex and other State Buildings. Employees will be able to catch the shuttle at the bus stop on the corner of Calvert and Bladen Street and at DNR. Please allow sufficient time in your commute for the shuttle.

Due to the Naval Academy Graduation, State employees working in the City of Annapolis on May 24th, will have the option of liberal leave. Extensive traffic congestion and possible road closures are anticipated. Employees will be able to park in the Navy Lot on Saturday, May 25th.

Traffic will be heavy on all three days, as many visitors will come to Annapolis to be part of these activities.  Keep on mind that this is also Memorial Day Weekend.  Needless to say, traffic congestion will be heavy the rest of this week and additional time should be added to your commute.
