Road Closures: between 9am and 5pm: Deer Park Ave. between Park Ave. and Railroad Ave. (The intersection of RR ave. and George St. will remain open to through traffic.) Deer Park Ave. to Main St. and Fire Island Ave. south of Main St. to the municipal parking lot south of the Carriage House will be closed during this time.
June 1st – Lindenhurst
The Lindenhurst Fire Department will host the Annual Long Island Invitational Drill and Parade (rain date: June 2nd ). The parade will start at 1000 pm at the intersection of So. Wellwood Avenue and Liberty St., proceeding north on Wellwood to Hartford St. where it will travel east on Hartford to Fireman’s Memorial Park.
June 1st – No. Amityville
The North Amityville Community Festival Day will start with a Parade/Walk-a-thon at 8:00 am and continue with a festival 12:00pm to 6:00pm. The Parade will commence at Harrison Ave & Rosewood Ave. proceed toward Albany Ave. to Great Neck Rd. ending at Booker Blvd. The festival will follow at Bolden Mack Park.
June 2nd : Babylon Village Docks:
The Suffolk Marine will host their Annual Striped Bass Tournament.
