* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... East central Quay County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 330 AM MDT.

* At 259 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of Glenrio, or 33 miles east of Tucumcari, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Bard. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 360 and 372.

* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY, NM
