* At 1032 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving from west to east across the area. Some of these thunderstorms are producing brief heavy downpours resulting in rainfall rates over one inch per hours. Rapid ponding of water can be expected in these heavy downpours, resulting in roadway and poor drainage flooding.
* Some locations that could experience flooding include... Allentown, New Brunswick, Easton, Morristown, Somerville, Newton, Somerset, Edison, Bethlehem, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, North Brunswick, Ewing, Dover, Madison, Hopatcong, Forks and Middlesex.
