TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday Due to Ramadan Commemoration 
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announces that Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard (formerly Broad Street) will be closed from Court Street to Lafayette Street during the hours of 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th due to the Ramadan Commemoration offered by the City of Newark.
Due to possible traffic congestion resulting from this event, we advise those traveling in the area to allow for extra time and to plan alternative routes.
Director Ambrose thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event.
